King of Prussia – April 22, 2021 — A twenty-year veteran of the commercial insurance industry with a specialization in construction risk, Dan McCarthy has been named Vice President, Director of Sales at MRG Construction Risk Management. In his new role, Dan will lead business development efforts for the King of Prussia-based company that specializes in turning insurance into an asset for middle market construction companies.
Among his responsibilities will be building and motivating a team of producers and strategically directing the companies’ sales efforts.
Dan, who holds a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist designation from the International Risk Management Institute joined MRG as a producer in 2015 from another full-service insurance broker. He has an extensive background in commercial lines, marketing and managing large construction accounts.

A native of Springfield and a resident of West Chester, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Dan is an avid Philadelphia sports fan who coaches his children’s teams at the West Chester wrestling club, Malvern league basketball and West Chester soccer team.
