Members of MRG’s management team have careers that are uniquely focused on insurance and construction. Their knowledge spans the distinct safety, security and business issues faced by contractors, from hidden exposures, to occupational safety, to the fine print in contracts, to insurance options like OCIPs, CCIPs and captives.
Ron Ebert, CRIS, Partner
President
Ron founded MRG with one goal: to offer a new level of construction risk management expertise and service to privately held construction firms in the Mid-Atlantic region. His 30-year career is singularly focused on creating and designing risk management programs for the construction industry. He has written for Construction Executive, National Underwriter and Construction Today, has presented at industry conferences including CFMA, GBCA and ABC and served on the board of the Philadelphia chapter of CFMA. Ron regularly teaches CPE and CLE-approved classes to accounting and law firms.
Known for his straight talk and recognized as a fierce advocate for clients, he is respected among construction company owners, CFOs, trade leaders and insurance carriers alike. Hard work, responsiveness and integrity are his hallmarks.
Bill Burke, CRIS, Partner
Director of Risk Control Services
Bill is responsible for leading the risk management and safety programs MRG delivers to many of the top construction companies in the Mid-Atlantic. Known for his depth of knowledge and unique perspective as an Occupational Safety and Health expert and licensed property & casualty insurance broker, Bill is relied upon to help others navigate risks and ensure safe projects.
He serves on the Executive Committee of the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council and is on the Board of the Pennsylvania Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Conference. He has written for Construction Today, and has spoken at industry conferences on risk management topics ranging from Defensive Driving to Fall Protection.
Zina Clayman, CRIS, Partner
Director of Client Services
Zina is at the forefront of information on the constantly changing insurance climate and enjoys long-standing relationships with the carrier marketplace. She has more than 20 years of insurance account management experience. Her expertise was developed by managing insurance programs for some of the largest contractors in the region.
Her presentations to professional associations and clients include analyzing construction contracts, cyber liability, and risk transfer best practices. Zina sets the standard for MRG client service, ensuring that the team meets client needs with responsiveness and accuracy.
